Ralf Rangnick Manchester United press conference LIVE Man United vs Leicester team news

Ralf Rangnick will speak to the press on Friday afternoon ahead of Manchester United's upcoming Premier League fixture against Leicester this weekend.

United will be looking to end their disappointing season on a high by securing a top-four finish in the league and will have had plenty of time to plan their revival over the recent international break.

Rangnick's side have lost their last three meetings with Leicester in all competitions — as many as they had in their previous 36 against them (won 24, drawn 9). They’ve never lost four in a row against the Foxes before.

The United interim manager is expected to issue some early team news ahead of the match, with Edinson Cavani an injury concern again, and he could also comment on Bruno Fernandes after the Portuguese midfielder penned a new contract with the club on Friday morning.

Bruno Fernandes has signed a new contract with Manchester United until 2026, with the option of an additional year.

Fernandes, 27, has scored 49 goals and created another 39 in 117 games since joining in a £67.6million move from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020 and is widely considered to be United's most effective signing since Robin van Persie in 2012.

Fernandes and his representatives, Miguel Pinho and Rui Guimaraes, were with Fernandes in Manchester on Thursday.
