Ralf Rangnick responds to Paul Pogba comments

Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has given Paul Pogba short shrift after he complained about his failure to have a defined role at club level. His revelation came during the international break, Pogba questioned 'at United, do I really have a role? I ask the question and I don't have the answer'.

It's been a rollercoaster season for most of the players, the Frenchman included. He was dropped in United's last game, as they were knocked out by Atletico Madrid and missed three months of the season with a thigh injury - which he picked up with Didier Deschamps' side.

The 29-year-old is out of contract at United on June 30 and is widely expected to leave the club after six years with the club. As Premier League action returns, Pogba will be needed in order to fulfil United's ambition of maintaining their position in the Champions League, as they sit four points off Arsenal.
