Team India maintained their dominance in the ODI World Cup 2023 as they defeated New Zealand by four wickets in Dharamsala on Sunday. Put to bat first, the visitors posted a total of 273 with Daryl Mitchell smashing 130 runs. However, the Rohit Sharma-led team chased down the target with two overs to spare, courtesy of Virat Kohli's crucial knock of 95 runs. India are now top of the table with 10 points and a Net Run Rate of +1.353. This was the first loss for New Zealand who are second with 8 points from 5 matches with a NRR of +1.481.

Virat Kohli was once again the top performer for the Indian cricket team as he missed his 49th ODI century by a whisker. Kohli was dismissed for 95 after stitching together a crucial partnership with Ravindra Jadeja. Rohit Sharma provided a perfect start to the Indian cricket team with a 40-ball-46.
