Raiding Ethan Rafferty proves a dangerous weapon for Armagh

Tyrone got an unwanted reminder that Armagh forward-turned-goalkeeper Ethan Rafferty is still a clinical finisher in their All-Ireland exit at the hands of the Orchard County at the Athletic Grounds.

Rafferty popped up with two points from play in the 1-16 to 1-10 victory, with his marauding forays forward another string to an impressive Armagh bow.

The Grange stalwart, who still plays outfield at club level, admitted to some good fortune with his first point, but his second was a thing of beauty.

"I didn't make a good connection," Rafferty told RTÉ Sport. "As soon as I kicked it, I thought 'oh, no' so I was glad to see it go through when I lifted my head.

"The second one, I had a change of pace, beat my man, and made space to kick it."
