Raheem Sterling situation at Chelsea offers Manchester United perfect transfer solution

As the summer transfer window nears its conclusion, Manchester United may be looking for opportunities to take advantage of in the market.

United have until August 30 to complete their transfer business for the summer and add to their four new signings. Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui have all moved to Old Trafford this summer to strengthen Erik ten Hag's squad.

There is still the possibility of a new midfielder signing for United before the window closes. Paris Saint-Germain star Manuel Ugarte is a target for the Reds, and an agreement is now close to being reached for the Uruguay international.

Rumours have also been swirling that players could leave United before the window closes, namely Jadon Sancho. After spending the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, it remains to be seen if Sancho has a long-term future at Old Trafford.

Another player whose future is becoming increasingly uncertain at another club is Raheem Sterling. The England international was left out of the Chelsea squad at the weekend for the defeat to Manchester City.

The decision led to Sterling's representatives issuing a statement in response to the winger being left out of the squad. Just a couple of days later, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca confirmed that Sterling is unlikely to have a future at Stamford Bridge.
