Raheem Sterling: Chelsea fan 'felt so sorry' for him over moment vs Everton
Chelsea kicked off their 2022/23 Premier League campaign with a 1-0 victory over Everton.
Thomas Tuchel’s side were woeful at times during pre-season, but were able to deliver the goods on Merseyside last Saturday.
The Blues were certainly aided by the fact that Frank Lampard had to field an injury-depleted XI at Goodison Park, but a win is still a win.
Jorginho bagged the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in first half stoppage-time after Ben Chilwell was fouled in the box.
But while the Italian proved to be Chelsea’s match-winner on the day, one fan has raised concerns over the midfielder’s ability after a snippet of action involving him and teammate Raheem Sterling.
Towards the end of the first half, Sterling made one of his trademark runs in behind the opposition’s defence while Jorginho was in acres of space by the centre circle.
However, despite the fact he had more than enough time on his hands, the former Napoli man didn’t even attempt the pass.
Instead, Jorginho turned back and offloaded the ball to midfield partner, N’Golo Kante.

I felt so sorry for Sterling there tbh. KDB would’ve just spotted him
