Racing at Punchestown to go ahead despite 'heavy' going
Racing at Punchestown will go ahead today, with the going said to be heavy after an inspection this morning.
Parts of the course were waterlogged on Monday after a series of storms battered Ireland over the weekend, bringing heavy rain with them.
A short statement from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board read: "Following an inspection at Punchestown this morning the track is fit for racing and the ground is heavy."
