Racing 92 v Cardiff Live: Kick-off time and score updates from Paris

Cardiff welcome back Ellis Jenkins who will captain the side for their crunch Investec Champions Cup clash with Racing 92 in Paris.

The Welsh club will be reeling from last weekend's heavy home defeat to Harlequins, and are still winless in this season's competition, but a victory at the La Defense Arena will ensure they are in the knockout stages of at least one European tournament. But they face a monumental challenge against a star-studded Racing 92 outfit who boast the likes of Wales lock Will Rowlands, double South Africa Rugby World Cup-winning captain Siya Kolisi and former England wing Christian Wade in their ranks.

If Cardiff were to emerge victorious they would qualify for the round of 16 of the Champions Cup, should Ulster lose at Harlequins without picking up a losing bonus point. Should Cardiff finish fifth in their pool they would drop down into the knockout stages of the Challenge Cup.

But they are huge underdogs against a far better resourced side, although the return of former Wales openside Jenkins will help matters. New Wales squad member Mackenzie Martin has also been promoted into the starting XV, along with young hooker Efan Daniel.
