Whilst Port Vale have been able to call upon the services of a plethora of players in recent times who have been determined to produce passionate performances for the club, there have been plenty of occasions where individuals have overstepped the mark.

Lucas Covolan’s indiscipline in Vale’s opening league fixture of the season against Northampton Town resulted in him being shown a red-card at Sixfields Stadium.

The Brazilian was also dismissed in his side’s meeting with Swindon Town last month whilst his team-mates Tom Conlon and Dan Jones have both been handed their marching orders by referees during the current campaign.
