An inconsistent start to the current campaign eventually resulted in the club’s hierarchy deciding to replace Slavisa Jokanovic with Paul Heckingbottom.

Since Heckingbottom’s arrival, the Blades have experienced an upturn in form as they have managed to win 12 and draw six of the 22 league games that the 44-year-old has overseen.

Currently sixth in the Championship standings, the Blades will be looking to book their place in the play-offs by delivering the goods at this level between now and the end of the term.
