Queens of the Stone Age set for Manchester AO Arena show

Queens of the Stone Age are heading for Manchester. The rock legends will play a headline show at the AO Arena on November 14.

The date is part of the Seattle band’s European ‘The End Is Nero’ tour, which will be taking in cities across the continent. The tour kicks off with a show in Amsterdam on November 4 and then winding up with Dublin on November 22.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on June 16. Support on all dates, meanwhile, will come from Australian punk band The Chats and London trio Deep Tan.

The tour is coming on the back of the band’s new album In Times New Roman, which is due out on June 16. It’s the band’s eighth, and has been made at Rick Rubin’s iconic Shangri-La studio in Malibu, California, as well as band frontman Josh Homme’s Pink Duck studio.

It’s the band’s first since 2017’s Villains, and comes fronted by singles Carnavoyeur and Emotion Sickness. They will also be headlining The Other Stage at Glastonbury on June 25, alongside a handful of other small gigs later this month.
