Queen's Platinum Jubilee: Full TV guide for four-day weekend including ITV and BBC

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee has finally arrived after weeks and months of preparations. The monarch will mark an incredible 70 years on the throne. Many members of the public have been treated to a bumper four-day Bank Holiday weekend.

It all kicks off on Thursday, June 2, with celebrations continuing until Sunday, June 5, with events, ranging from family picnics to a record-breaking 5,000-strong street party in the North West, in what the Met Office has said will be a quintessentially British summer bank holiday of drizzle and patchy sunshine.

But if heading out and about isn't every day of the Jubilee weekend isn't in your plans, you may want to watch some of the special coverage from the comfort of your sofa.

From the heir to the throne making a special appearance in Walford, chatting to the residents of Albert Square, to a huge party featuring a star-studded line-up outside Buckingham Palace - there's plenty going on. Here's a look at what you can expect on the likes of ITV and BBC over the next four days.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee: Trooping the Colour - BBC One, 10am

Kicking off the celebrations is the annual, and very traditional, Trooping the Colour. The military parade will see more than 1,500 officers and soldiers and 350 horses from the Household Division stage the display on Horse Guards Parade in central London, with the colour trooped by the 1st Battalion, Irish Guards.
