Qatar World Cup 2022: How to get tickets in next random selection draw

Fifa has announced that a second random selection draw sales period has opened for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, giving fans another chance to get hold of tickets ahead of the finals later this year.

Here is everything you need to know about the next round of the World Cup tickets process.

Similar to the first random selection draw, fans can apply for a variety of World Cup tickets which are then allocated at a later date. The big difference is that in the second random selection draw, fans can now select specific matches following the group stage draw and release of the schedule.

In between the two random selection draws, fans had the opportunity to get hold of resale tickets on a first come, first served basis but that window has now closed.

The second random selection draw opened on Tuesday, April 5 and will run until Thursday, April 28. Just like the first selection draw, there will be no priority based on when the applications are made, so it makes no difference if fans apply on the first day or the last.

For the first time, Supporter Tickets and Conditional Supporter Tickets will be on offer for those who declare as followers of a certain competing country and want to sit with fellow fans of that team. Note that some member associations require fans to be member of their official fan clubs in order to apply for these tickets.

Fans will be again able to apply for Individual Match Tickets and Four-Stadium Ticket Series, while Accessibility Tickets will be available across all products.

Individual Match Tickets Tickets for a specific match, available across four different price categories.

Supporter Tickets Group-stage tickets for supporters of a certain team, available across three different price categories.
