'Put the B Team out!' - Thomas Frank makes Brentford promise to Everton ahead of Leeds clash
Brentford boss Thomas Frank has promised Everton that his side will be going all out to beat Leeds United in their final game of the season this weekend - describing the match as a 'cup final'.
After being beaten by the Bees on Sunday at Goodison Park, the Blues could head into their final game of the season away to Arsenal needing a result to preserve their Premier League status if they fall to another defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace on Thursday night.
As things stand the Blues are two points clear of the drop zone, and one point ahead of Leeds, although they do have a game in hand on Jesse Marsch’s side. And speaking following his side’s win at Goodison, Frank promised the Blues that his side will not be rolling over for the Elland Road club this Sunday.
