Pundits disagree as surprise Man City prediction for Brentford Premier League fixture given

Manchester City will end their Premier League title-winning season with a trip to Brentford this afternoon.

It has been another brilliant campaign for Pep Guardiola's side who have sealed their fifth top flight crown in six seasons. But it was not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination. City had to overhaul an Arsenal team which defied all expectations under Mikel Arteta, with many tipping them to struggle to get into the top four prior to the start of the campaign, never mind mount a title charge.

But City reeled in the Gunners and remain in the hunt for the treble after sealing the first third of it. Guardiola's side have finals against cross-city rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup and Inter Milan in the Champions League still to come.

The champions end their top flight campaign on the road against the Bees, who have had a fantastic season. Thomas Frank's men will finish in the top half of the table and could end as high as seventh should they win and results elsewhere go their way.
