PSL outfit Richards Bay part ways with head coach Vasili Manousakis

Richards Bay have officially announced the exit of head coach Vasili Manousakis, while his assistants Pitso Dladla and Ronnie Gabriel have also followed suit.

Manousakis and Dladla started the 2022/23 season as co-coaches until the former was put in sole charge in March.

The club had started their first season in the DStv Premiership like a house on fire and occupied second spot on the standings for the first half of their campaign.

But results started to go against the Natal Rich Boys and they dropped further down the standings week after week.

With Manousakis in sole charge the team did not win in seven matches and they ultimately ended the 2022/23 season in 13th place, just three points above the promotion/relegation places.

A statement from the club read: "Richards Bay Football Club would like to announce the the departure of Head Coach Mr. Vasili Manousakis, Mr. Pitso Dladla and Mr. Ronnie Gabriel the two Assistant Coaches.

"The Club would also like to thank them for their contribution during last season. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

"The announcement of the new technical team will be announced in due course."
