PSG youngster and Brentford star - Alejandro Garnacho alternatives Man United could sign

Manchester United may lose attacker Alejandro Garnacho this month, leaving a gaping hole in attacking areas.

Despite not actively wanting to leave Old Trafford this month, the Argentinian winger has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with both Napoli and Chelsea keen to sign him.

Garnacho has struggled for consistent game time this season, starting 11 times in 20 appearances, scoring just three goals, missing nine ‘big chances’ in the process.

United sit 12th in the Premier League and are desperate for reinforcements, particularly in attacking areas where they have scored just 26 goals all season. The 20-year-old is likely to command a fee of around £50million, meaning United will have some wiggle room as they look for a replacement.

As such, here are three players United could target.

According to FBref, the 19-year-old is averaging 6.57 progressive carries (97th percentile), 2.63 successful take-Ons (93 percentile), 0.86 interceptions (86 percentile), having an 81.7% pass completion rate (89 percentile), per 90 minutes compared to his positional peers in 2024/25 Ligue 1 this season.
