Alejandro Garnacho transfer latest - Chelsea update, Man United message, Napoli bombshell

Several clubs across Europe have expressed an interest in luring Manchester United's Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho away from Old Trafford during the winter transfer window.

Deadline day is upon us and, for now, Garnacho remains part of Ruben Amorim's squad though the Portuguese head coach could still sanction the 21-year-old's exit before 11pm on Monday.

United have already seen attacker Marcus Rashford depart during the transfer window as the England international joined Aston Villa on loan with the option to make the move permanent to the tune of £40million.

The Reds announced the £30milion acquisition of Leece wing-back Patrick Dorgu on Sunday who become Ruben Amorim's first major signing after adding 18-year-old defender Ayden Heaven from Arsenal earlier this week.

Serie A leaders Napoli have been monitoring Garnacho's situation throughout January with the winger left out of Amorim's starting side for a stint before the new year.

Sky Italia has reported that Napoli boss Antonio Conte is unhappy with the club after the club's pursuit of Garnacho proved to be fruitless. The Italian side also failed to convince Karim Adeyemi to join as their replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who joined PSG.

Although, there still may be a way out of Old Trafford for Garnacho as football.london reports Chelsea are set to make a final late move to sign the winger on transfer deadline day.

The move may be dependent on the future of Chelsea counterpart, Christopher Nkunku who is expected to remain at Stamford Bridge despite interest from both United and Bayern Munich.

However, Joao Felix's imminent loan move to AC Milan could pave the way for Garnacho to make the switch to the capital before Monday's 11pm deadline.
