PSG 'submit offer' for Man City's Bernardo Silva and more transfer rumours

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly submitted an offer to Manchester City for Bernardo Silva.

According to L'Equipe (via the Express), Paris Saint-Germain have submitted an offer of in the region of £59million for the player. It is believed that the French side are looking to hijack Barcelona's attempted move for the player and have now tested City's resolve with their latest bid.

City are not willing to even consider selling the player without a bid of at least £80m being made - but with only a week to go in the transfer market, the Ligue 1 club have not given up hope of signing Silva. Pep Guardiola recently reignited rumours linking the player with a move away from the club after he was quoted as saying that if there was to be an offer for the player "and both clubs reach an agreement, we would see."

Elsewhere, sensational claims have emerged from Spain that report Erling Haaland could be on the move from the club soon.

According to El Chiringuito’s Josep Pedrerol (via Sport Witness), the Norwegian striker 'could have a clause in his contract’ which allows him to leave the club in two years. The Spanish journalist failed to add any specifics on how a move would work - but added that both Barcelona and Real Madrid 'trust' that they could sign Haaland.

This is not the first sensational claim that Pedrerol has made, the Spanish journalist is not shy of making jaw-dropping announcements. While no further details are forthcoming on the deal - if the news is true, this clause would certainly be a big deal for the player’s future.
