PSG's Neymar dived to win a penalty in pre-season friendly vs Gamba Osaka
Gamba Osaka couldn’t live with Paris Saint-Germain in the first half of their pre-season friendly on Monday.
In the final game of their Japanese tour, the French outfit raced into a 4-1 lead by the half-time interval.
PSG opened the scoring in the 28th minute of play through Pablo Sarabia and Neymar then made it 2-0 from the penalty just four minutes later.
However, the way in which the spot kick came about was pretty suspect, especially given the fact it’s a pre-season friendly.
Neymar was the man who was ‘fouled’ in the box, although the replays appear to suggest there wasn’t any contact whatsoever.
The sliding Gamba Osaka defender looked to have pulled his foot away at the last second, but that didn’t stop Neymar from throwing himself to the ground in a very dramatic manner.
Even if there was the slightest bit of contact, it was certainly nowhere near enough to make the world’s most expensive footballer writhe around in agony…
