PSG make first move for Paul Pogba with contract offer - on less money than Man Utd deal

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly ‘made an offer’ to Paul Pogba that is on lesser terms than the final deal Manchester United offered.

The World Cup winner will be a f ree agent at the end of the season when his contract at Ralf Rangnick’s side comes to an end. Pogba was heavily linked with a move to Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the summer transfer window, but Lionel Messi ’s arrival appeared to bring down the curtain on a potential move.

United have been locked in contract negotiations with the former Juventus ace throughout the campaign, but negotiations have seemingly fallen flat. However, PSG are believed to be renewing their interest in the 29-year-old central midfielder.

Reports from the Manchester Evening News claim the Parisians have offered terms to Pogba, which would see him swap Old Trafford for the Parc des Princes in a free transfer at the end of the season. Surprisingly, PSG’s terms are understood to have been lower than the final package United offered in an attempt to keep him at the club.

However, Pogba recently he is far from decided where his next club will be at the end of the campaign. "Nothing is decided on my future, there is nothing done," Pogba told Telefoot.

"I can decide tomorrow, as I can decide during the transfer window. I want to come back, finish the season well. "The season is not over yet, but almost because we don't have any more titles to play for.

“I want to win titles, to play for something and this year and the last few years we haven't won a title. It's sad."

Pogba also expressed his frustration at another poor campaign for United this season. The Reds are currently languishing in seventh position, where they trail the Champions League places by three points.
