PS Plus Premium: Every game in every tier of revamped subscription service

PlayStation Plus Premium is the revamped, rebooted version of Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service.

It is a very similar service to Xbox Game Pass, and is designed to offer players the chance to play a multitude of titles, both from the current console generation and its back catalogue.

There are PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4 and PSP games on the service, along with PS5 titles, but to access all of them, you’re going to need a Premium subscription.

The subscription service has launched in the UK and we now know exactly which games are available in each tier.

We’ve taken a look and broken it down for you, so you can make your own spending choices; each tier comes at a different price, of course.

This is the cheapest tier and everyone who has a basic PS Plus subscription will automatically be switched over to the Essential tier.

You don’t get access to the gaming back catalogue if you subscribe to this tier.

Instead, you will receive monthly PS4 and PS5 downloadable games and exclusive discounts, cloud storage, and online multiplayer access.

That’s your lot.

PS Plus Extra includes a downloadable catalogue of around 400 games, that have released on PS5 and PS4. There is no option to play retro titles from an older generation of consoles here.

The PS Plus Premium subscription has all of the PS5 and PS4 games listed above, but with extra bells and whistles.

You will also be able to stream PS3 games, while there is a catalogue of PS1, PS2 and PSP games that can be both downloaded and streamed that is only accessible on this tier.

In addition to this, you’ll get access to time-limited game trials for certain titles, such as Horizon Forbidden West, so you can try before you buy.
