PS Plus: Dino Crisis may be coming to PlayStation Plus

The PS1 classic Dino Crisis may well be coming to the PS Plus.

Eurogamer reports that PS Plus subscribers in Asia have seen artwork for the game, hinting that it could well be added to the service soon.

The game is not currently in the catalogue but users in Asia have seen art of the lead character being used as the cover for classic games.

That suggests that it could well be added to the service eventually.

The Asian launch of PS Plus has been something of a muddle so far, and there are said to be far fewer games available than what was promised.

As per a separate Eurogamer report, the service in Asia has launched with 269 titles, despite Sony promising that the service would feature as many as 700 games available for players to either download or stream.

As a result, it seems fair to assume that there will be a variety of games added to the service over the next few weeks and months.

And Dino Crisis could well be one of those games.

Released initially in 1999, the game centres around a special forces team who must find a way to survive in a government facility that is being infested by dinosaurs.

Released by Capcom, it is essentially survival-horror game, and it will be remarkably interesting to see if Dino Crisis does end up being on the PS Plus offering as it launches in further regions across the globe.

Of course, as and when we know more about Sony’s offering, we’ll let you know and we’ll be sure to keep you updated when it comes to Dino Crisis.

Fans have often asked for a remake or a remaster so being able to play the cult hit would be a boon for so many players.
