Proteas legend Jacques Kallis joins Pretoria Capitals coaching roster, will assist Graham Ford
The SA20 coaching recruitment train is moving with serious steam after the Pretoria Capitals got legendary Proteas all-rounder Jacques Kallis on board as an assistant coach.
Kallis will be Graham Ford's right-hand man, with the former having worked with Ford between 1999 and 2002 when Ford, who was fresh from success with the Dolphins, moved up to the Proteas to replace Bob Woolmer.
Ford has done the coaching rounds around the world since his unfortunate departure back in 2002 after a disastrous summer experience against Steve Waugh's Australians, while Kallis has kept himself busy with various consulting assignments since retiring in 2013.

His notable ones have been with the Kolkata Knight Riders, a team he has played for in the Indian Premier League, while there was his highly talked about and controversial coaching consultancy stint with the Proteas in the infancy of Mark Boucher's coaching stint with the Proteas.
The franchise that's linked to the Delhi Capitals in the IPL, has already signed up Anrich Nortje, who plays for the franchise, and Migael Pretorius.
Who the franchise will sign and how the rest of their roster will look will be determined in the auction that's set to take place on 19 September.
The leagues starts in January 2023.
