Promotion/relegation play-off to take place after FAI Cup final

The promotion/relegation play-off for the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division will take place after the Sports Direct FAI Cup final.

With Drogheda United's place in the game confirmed by Bohemians' victory over Sligo Rovers on Saturday, a new date for the game had to be found.

This is because the original master fixture list had the the play-off down for the 'week-ending 10 November', but with Drogheda in the Cup final on that date, it has been pushed back.

It will now take place on Saturday 16 November, with a 2pm kick off time.

Drogs await the winners of the First Division play-offs, which start on Thursday, with the second legs on bank holiday Monday.

UCD are up against Bray Wanderers, while it's Athlone Town and Wexford on the other side.

The two winners there will play in the final on Saturday week, 2 November, at Dalymount Park.
