Promising flyhalf Kade Wolhuter has signed a loan deal with the Lions ahead of the 2023/24 URC season.
The 22-year-old has been on the Stormers' books since 2020 but his game time in recent seasons has been limited due to knee injuries.

But he'll head to Johannesburg this season to try and stake a claim in the URC.

In April this year, Wolhuter suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury which brought a premature end to his season.
Wolhuter had just recovered from an ACL injury he sustained in 2021.
The former Paul Roos scholar was tipped by many as a future Springbok after making his Stormers debut as a teenager in 2020.
But the two knee injuries significantly curtailed his progress.
The Lions will open their URC campaign against the Stormers at Ellis Park on Saturday, 21 October.
