"Probably his last game" - Pundit convinced £49.5m-rated Man Utd ace will never play for Ten Hag

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has played his last game for the Old Trafford outfit, believes former Premier League player Carlton Palmer.

The 29-year-old could miss the rest of the season due to injury and is out of contract in the summer.

Pogba picked up a calf injury in United’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool last month, and manager Ralf Rangnick is now expecting him to be sidelined for the remainder of the campaign.

“It is very unlikely he will play again until the end of the season,” the German told BBC Sport and other outlets.

“The doctor told me it will take four weeks minimum for him to recover and the last game is the end of May. I don’t think that it is very likely that he will be able to play again.”

Pogba, however, is choosing to remain more optimistic, recently taking to Twitter to tell supporters that he is aiming to make a return before the Premier League’s conclusion.

With Pogba out of contract in June, Palmer is not expecting him to be a part of Erik ten Hag’s squad next term.

When asked if the Frenchman had put on a United shirt for the last time following his injury, the ex-Leeds United and Southampton midfielder told GIVEMESPORT: “Yes, I think that’s clear. I think that’s clear. It’s gone sour again, and I don’t think that’s all Paul’s fault, but it’s gone sour again. So I think that’s probably his last game.”

According to Sky Sports, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are all interested in signing Pogba when the transfer window reopens.

PSG have been heavily linked with the £49.5m-rated France international before, so joining them looks like a strong possibility.
