Prince Harry’s Heart Of Invictus Netflix series given official release date

Prince Harry's Heart of Invictus documentary is to be aired at the end of the month on Netflix. The announcement by the streaming platform has ended speculation that the series had been cancelled.

The docu-series will be released in the run-up to next month's Invictus Games in Dusseldorf. The Duke of Sussex is the show's executive producer and it forms part of the Sussexes' multimillion-pound deal with Netflix. The deal included the controversial Harry & Meghan documentary.

The first trailer for the Heart of Invictus limited series was released on Wednesday (August 16). Prince Harry is seen addressing the camera, saying: “The Games doesn’t focus on what causes the injury but really about the recovery and how to be part of a community again.”

The duke is also seen meeting competitors at the games. He says: "Everyone is struggling at some point."

Netflix describes the show as following "a group of extraordinary competitors from around the globe". The service members taking part in the games have experienced life-changing injuries or illnesses.

Another woman is seen taking a group video call. But she is forced to end the call as shelling begins nearby.

More footage of Prince Harry shows him appearing on stage at the Invicts Games, which he founded in 2014. He says: "If your goal was to make your country proud, you’ve done it… If your goal was to make your family happy, you’ve achieved it… You
