Pride of the region: Team Falcons MENA ready to compete at Esports World Cup in Paris
DUBAI: The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s International 2026 marks its first appearance in Europe as a part of the Esports World Cup in Paris.
Bringing together 16 of the world’s leading teams, the tournament will have players compete for a share of the $500,000 prize pool, reinforcing its position as one of the biggest events in women’s esports.
For Team Falcons MENA, the tournament represents an opportunity to showcase the talent of players from the Middle East North Africa region on the international MLBB stage.
Following success at the MWI-Africa qualifiers, the team now take to the stage in Paris to test themselves against the strongest women’s rosters from around the world.
As the popularity of women’s esports continues to grow worldwide, MWI has become an important platform for players to compete at the highest level while inspiring greater participation across the competitive gaming ecosystem.
Meet the team
While the MLBB is played in a five vs. five format, Team Falcons MENA travel with a five-player roster, consisting of five starting players and one substitute who provides additional flexibility throughout the tournament.
Each member plays a distinct role within the team’s overall strategy.
Nocturne takes on the role of EXP Laner, controlling the side lane while providing durability during team fights and helping initiate key engagements.
As the team’s Jungler, Nana is responsible for controlling neutral objectives, dictating the pace of the game and creating opportunities for teammates across the map.
Operating from the center lane is Syrinx, the team’s Mid Laner, whose role combines map control, team-fight impact and coordinating rotations to support both side lanes.
