Premier Sports Cup draw LIVE as Rangers look to join Celtic and Kilmarnock in the last four hat

All eyes are on the Premier Sports Cup quarter finals this evening with fans from across the country starting to get rather excited by the prospect of lifting the first piece of silverware this season.

Kilmarnock have already ensured their spot in the last four following last night's 2-1 victory over Dundee United at Rugby Park, with Killie managing to reach the semi finals for the first time in 10 years. Boss Derek McInnes will be keeping a close eye on the draw as he looks to add to his 2014 winners' medal with Aberdeen, as well as reaching the final of this competition for the fourth time in his managerial career.

Ange Postecoglou's Celtic have also secured their place in the draw courtesy of a thumping 4-0 win over Motherwell at Fir Park. Liel Abada was the star of the show, scoring two goals, whilst Reo Hatate and Kyogo Furuhashi also got in on the act in the second-half.

Steven Hammell's side gave Rangers a scare on Saturday and have been revitalised under the new boss following the departure of Graham Alexander, but tonight's task was simply a step too far for Well in front of their home support.

Elsewhere, Aberdeen will be looking to avoid a potential banana skin as they welcome Partick Thistle to Pittodrie, while Rangers are strong favourites to progress from their clash at home to Dundee this evening.

Motherwell's hopes of progressing to the last four were ruthlessly extinguished at Fir Park tonight, as holders Celtic secured a comfortable 4-0 victory.

Liel Abada was the star of the show with the 21-year-old scoring either side of half-time, whilst Reo Hatate added a brilliant
