Premier Sports Cup draw LIVE as Celtic well on course to take final semi final spot

We're approaching the business end of the Premier Sports Cup.

Aberdeen took care of League two Spartans as expected to join them on Saturday, while Rangers were comfortable winners at home to Dundee as the defence of their trophy continued.

It remains the only trophy Philippe Clement has won as Gers boss and after falling short in the title race and Scottish Cup earlier this year, making it Two-In-A-Row in the League Cup could be the boost he needs to kick on after the New Year.

Two more teams remain in the last eight and it would be some shock of Falkirk were to knock Celtic out on their home patch to claim the last semis berth.

This trophy was the only one Brendan Rodgers didn't lift last term as his perfect cup record as Hoops boss was ended by Kilmarnock, so there's a determination to be in the hat come 5pm today.
