With less than a week to go until the summer 2022 transfer window slams shut for Premier League clubs, pretty much every manager in the English top-flight will be hoping that their side still has a few last pieces of business to do before the clock strikes 11pm on September 1.

Given the long season ahead, even those bosses who are relatively content with their squads know the value of reinforcements throughout a campaign.

Hypothetically, then, if every Premier League club was to make at least one more signing before the window shuts, who should they be trying to bring in?
