Pregnant Coronation Street star Sair Khan offers baby update with 'weird' pregnancy symptom ahead of birth

Coronation Street star Sair Khan has shared how she's preparing for the arrival of her first child weeks after sharing pictures from her gorgeous baby shower. The actress is currently preparing to welcome her first child into the world with her partner Nathan Chilton.

Back in December, Sair, known for playing Alya Nazir in the ITV soap, admitted she was feeling 'a real mix of emotions' as she revealed the news of her pregnancy.

The mum-to-be went on to say: "With all that is happening in the world, it didn’t feel like the right time to share but we also know it’s okay to keep hope and pray for peace whilst acknowledging that we feel blessed and grateful. Last year was a challenging time for us both with Nathan’s chondroblastoma surgery on his pelvis."

She added at the time: "It’s been a long road to recovery and still has many obstacles ahead as we deal with the spread of the tumour to his lungs. Life can be difficult and there’ll always be challenges to face but there are also important lessons to be learnt and gifts to be cherished. We’re so excited for the arrival of Baby Chilton in Spring 2024 ."

Since then, Sair has kept a low profile on social media but has shared some updates, including back in January when she shared a video of her and Nathan arriving at their new home which they said will be the "biggest project of our lives".

But while the home continues to be renovated, Sair is also preparing for her bundle of joy's arrival. Taking to her Instagram Story on Wednesday (April 3), the soap star was seen enjoying a candlelit soak in the
