Predicted Hull FC team to face Wigan including loan signings and club young guns

Hull FC travel to Wigan this Friday night on the back of Sunday's Magic Weekend win over Hull KR. It's a short turn-around for the Black and Whites, who are still missing around a dozen first team players through injury and suspension.

Brett Hodgson has made just the one change to his 21-man-squad, with Mitieli Vulikijapani coming back into the fold after a two-game ban. Connor Wynne is suspended.

Hull remain without Jake Connor, Adam Swift, Carlos Tuimavave, Ligi Sao, Andre Savelio, Manu Ma'u, Joe Cator, Kane Evans, Ben McNamara and Jordan Johnstone.

After giving out five debuts in Newcastle, there will be a lot less movement this week, with new players impressing and some senior players all stepping up. That should see a relatively unchanged side, with Jack Walker getting the nod at fullback.

The wings will likely be occupied by Darnell McIntosh and Josh Simm, with Josh Griffin and Mitieli Vulikijapani in the centres. In the halves, Joe Lovodua is likely to partner Luke Gale, who had his best game for the club last weekend and will be challenged with leading the side once again.

Up front, Hodgson could be tempted to start with Chris Satae again, who had some excellent stints at St James Park. The big prop is bang in form right now, and he could be joined by Brad Fash in the middle of the field. Danny Houghton will start at hooker as always.

In the back row, Ellis Longstaff should keep his place after a stern debut, with Jordan Lane, who got through a lot of unsung work, on the other edge. The bench could be unchanged, with Scott Taylor looking to add some impact in shorter stints again.
