Prague shooting latest updates as 15 people killed by student gunman
Fifteen people have been killed in a mass shooting at a university in central Prague. Police say the gunman was a student at the university and that they are dead.
Emergency services say 30 people suffered various injuries, including nine with serious ones.
The shooting happened at the philosophy department of Charles University on Thursday afternoon. Officers sealed off Jan Palach Square and are are still searching the area, including the building’s balconies, for possible explosives.

People have been advised to leave the surrounding streets and stay inside.
Pavel Nedoma, the director of Rudolfinum Gallery, which also is located in the square, told Czech public television he saw from a window a person who was shooting toward the nearby Manes bridge across the Vltava River.
Following the shooting the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office updated their travel guidance to the Czech Republic. It said: "There has been a shooting incident in the centre of Prague, at the Faculty of Arts at the Charles University. If you are in the vicinity, follow the advice of local authorities.

Prague is a popular destination with British tourists, especially during the festive period due to the city's Christmas markets.
