Power was right in the mix to win the title after stringing four birdies together between the fourth and seventh holes.
However, he petered out on the back nine, parring the next four holes before bogeying the 14th.
He birdied his next two but dropped another shot on 18 as Canadian Svensson's six-under 64 saw him surge to victory.
The in-form Power remains in first place in the FedEx Cup rankings after nine events of the 2022-23 season.
