Potential boost emerges for Cardiff City in AFC Bournemouth transfer race

Championship outfit Cardiff City are still hopeful of luring current loanee Tommy Doyle back to the Welsh capital on another loan deal next season despite interest from AFC Bournemouth, as per a report from Wales Online.

The 20-year-old has been a key player in dragging the Bluebirds away from the relegation zone in recent months, first arriving from Manchester City during the winter window and instantly became one of the first names on the teamsheet under Steve Morison.

Already having 17 second-tier appearances under his belt, he has recorded two goals and three assists during that period, contributing both going forward and defensively as a key player in the middle of the park.
