Potential big boost: Journalist now reveals what he spotted at Leeds

Beren Cross spotted a potential injury boost for Jesse Marsch during Leeds United’s victory.

Leeds United picked up one of the biggest wins of their season yesterday as they swept fellow relegation rivals Watford aside 3-0 the day after Newcastle United won 1-0 and Everton also picked up big three points at home to Manchester United.

Raphinha, who has been Leeds United’s shining light and saviour on several occasions this season got the Whites off to a great start when his strike in the first half gave them a 1-0 lead but was taken off with less than 10 minutes to go after taking a knock just minutes earlier.

However, it didn’t appear to be too serious with Beren Cross claiming that from the press box he saw the winger jog over to join in with the celebrations after Jack Harrison scored the third goal, showing he may not be injured or hurt.

“Raphinha had taken a whack in the 10 minutes before he went off, but seemed to make it off without limping too heavily. The Brazilian couldn’t help himself when Jack Harrison stuck away the third goal, though.

He came straight out of the dugout and jogged over to join the celebrations in front of the away support.”
