Poll: Who is the best winger in the current squad at Celtic Park?
You need to have good wingers in your squad if you are going to play attacking football, and Celtic have been fortunate over the years to have some of the best players in that position not only in Scottish football, but in World football.
You only have to look at Jimmy Johnstone as an example of that, he is arguably Celtic’s greatest ever player, and he was a winger, and he exemplified the attacking football that has been part of Celtic since the club was formed.
The current Hoops squad – in season 2021/22 – includes some very good wingers, two in particular were key to the Bhoys winning the title under the management of Ange Postecoglou – Jota and Liel Abada.
The duo – who only joined the Hoops in season 2021/22 – both contributed plenty of goals and assists for the Bhoys, and played a big role in Celtic winning the title.
