Poll: What is Celtic's best Champions League group stage win?

After five years, Celtic are finally back in the Champions League group stages in season 2022/23. It has been too long for the Bhoys to be out of the biggest tournament in club football, but thankfully the wait is over, and Ange Postecoglou’s side will take on some of the biggest teams in football in 2022.

Shunsuke Nakamura’s incredible free-kick which gave the Bhoys the lead, and Artur Boruc’s penalty save which secured the three points and qualification to the last 16 for the first time in Celtic history.

Spartak Moscow 2 Celtic 3 (Group Stage 2012/13)

Celtic’s first ever away win in the group stages was won in the most dramatic of circumstances, as Georgios Samaras’ last-minute header secured a famous victory, which has to go down as one of Celtic’s best ever results away from home in Europe. The other goal scorers were Gary Hooper and James Forrest in what was a glorious night for the Hoops.

Celtic 2 Barcelona 1 (Group
