Police want to speak to this man after Metrolink staff 'threatened' at tram stop
Police have released a picture of a man they want to speak to after Metrolink staff were 'threatened' at a tram stop in Gorton.
The incident happened at the Central Park tram stop at around midday on Friday, June 16, police said. Officers were called to the scene following reports of 'threatening behaviour' towards staff at the station.
Police have now released a photo of a man they believe 'may be able to assist with enquiries'. They also want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.

Sharing the photo on the GMP Manchester North Facebook page this morning, an officer wrote: "#APPEAL | GMP’s Transport Unit are appealing for the public’s help for information following an incident at Central Park Metrolink station, Gorton. Officers were called at midday Friday 16 June 2023 to an incident of threatening behaviour towards Metrolink staff.
"Officers have followed up on a number of lines of enquiry and are now in a position to appeal for the public’s assistance and they would like to speak with the man captured in the image below as he may be able to assist with enquiries and are also appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time or who may have witnessed the incident.
"Any information can be reported to GMP’s Transport Unit on 0161 856 6758 quoting log 1721 16/06/2023 or in confidence anonymously via Crimestoppers 0800 555111."
