LIVE M62, M60, M6, M61, M67, M56 and M66 traffic and delay updates

It is set to be a busy morning on the motorways in Greater Manchester this morning - with a stretch of the M62 fully shut.

The M62 is closed between junction 12 for the M60 Eccles Interchange and junction 11 for Birchwood after a fatal incident in the early hours of this morning. A man sadly died at the scene after being struck by a car.

Accident investigation work is ongoing within the closure. Other roads in our region are set to be busy this morning too through rush-hour, with the M62 closure having a knock-on impact.

M62 - CHESHIRE - EASTBOUND - Queueing traffic and one lane closed due to broken down car on M62 Eastbound from J10 M6 J21A (Croft Interchange) to J11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood).

M60 - GREATER MANCHESTER - CLOCKWISE - Queueing traffic on M60 clockwise at J24 A57 (Denton Island).

M61 - GREATER MANCHESTER - SOUTHBOUND - Stop-start traffic on M61 Southbound at J1 M60 (Swinton Interchange). Travel time is 25 minutes.

M67 - GREATER MANCHESTER - WESTBOUND - Delays on M67 Westbound at M60 (Denton Island). Travel time is 15
