Police update after spate of alleged burglaries at churches

A man has been charged after a spate of break-ins at churches across Cheshire. The alleged offences took place in Northwich, Warrington, and Chester.

Bradley Higham, of no fixed abode, but with links to Runcorn and Sandbach, has been charged with six counts of burglary with intent to steal; seven counts of fraud by false representation; two counts of breaching a criminal behaviour order; and one count of theft.

In a statement Cheshire Constabulary said: "The charges relate to a number of incidents across Frodsham, Northwich and Warrington, that are alleged to have occurred between Tuesday May 7 and Sunday June 2.

"The 46-year-old has since been remanded in police custody and is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Friday August 23rd."
