Police searching for missing Bolton pensioner

Police are appealing for information in their search for a missing pensioner from Bolton. Alan Pye has not been seen since lunchtime.

The 82-year-old was last spotted in a green Skoda Roomster car on Old Green. He was dressed in a checked shirt, pale jumper, and jeans.

Now, police are searching to find the man from Bolton, who has links to Clitheroe. Greater Manchester Police said in a tweet: “Have you seen missing Alan Pye, 82, from Bolton?

“He was last seen on Old Green at 12 wearing a blue and white checked shirt, a pale blue jumper and jeans, and was in a green Skoda Roomster. He may be in Clitheroe, Lancashire.”
