Police search for two missing children, 11 and 13, last seen on trams

Police have launched an appeal to try and find two missing children who were last seen on the tram network.

Chloe, 11, and 13-year-old JJ have been reported missing from the Eccles area, and were both last seen on the Metrolink. The two youngsters may be in the Salford Quays area, as they are known to spend a lot of time there.

Chloe was last seen wearing shorts and a grey hoodie. JJ was wearing blue shorts and a green t-shirt the last time he was spotted.

It is not yet known where the pair travelled to. Police are yet to confirm which direction they were heading when they were last seen.

An appeal to find the two children was shared by GMP Salford on both their Twitter and Facebook pages. The post read: "MISSING from Eccles area... Chloe 11yrs wearing shorts & grey hoodie. JJ 13yrs wearing blue shorts & green t-shirt.

"Last seen on @MCRMetrolink. Known to frequent Salford Quays area. If seen please dial 999 and quote MSP/06FF/0001377/22"
