Police search for man wanted for assault with 'distinctive' face tattoos

Police have issued an appeal for help to track down a wanted man with 'distinctive' face tattoos who has links to Stockport.

Alex Taylor, from Macclesfield, is wanted in connection to assault and theft offences, Cheshire Police said. The 31-year-old has links to the Edgeley area.

He can be distinguished by his tattoos on his face - three star tattoos on the right side and a religious cross on the left. Taylor is described as being white, around 6ft tall and of slim build.

He has short brown hair and brown eyes, officers said. Police shared a mugshot of Taylor as part of an appeal for help to track him down.

Cheshire Police said in a statement: "Police are appealing for information from the public to trace a 31-year-old man from Macclesfield. Alex Taylor, 31, is wanted in connection to assault and theft offences.

"He is described as white, around 6'0" tall, of slim build, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He also has three distinctive star tattoos on the right side of his face and a religious cross on the left side.

"He is from Macclesfield, but has connections to the Edgeley area of Stockport. Anyone with any information about Taylor’s whereabouts should contact Cheshire Police via Provide more information about an appeal | Cheshire Constabulary or by calling 101, quoting 22000929252."
