Police return to Kersal Dale as searches continue
Police are once again searching Kersal Dale weeks after the discovery of human body parts sparked a murder investigation.
A huge search began after a walker found remains in a wooded area at around 5.50pm on Thursday, April 4. In plain sight, and off a footpath, they found the lower body parts of a man wrapped in multiple sheets of cellophane.
Officers stopped their search on April 16 following a number of appeals to the public. However, police have now been spotted searching the area once again.
