Police launch probe as man 'tries door handles' and attempts to break into homes
Police have launched an investigation after a spate of attempted burglaries in Levenshulme and North Reddish.
Officers said a man has been 'trying door handles' and 'attempting to enter people's houses' over the past two days. A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.
He remains in custody for questioning. Police now want to hear from anyone who witnessed of the attempted burglaries or anyone who has CCTV, doorbell or mobile phone footage.

They also want to hear from any potential victims who have not yet come forward. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Greater Manchester Police on 0161 856 3955 quoting log number 2321 08/04/24.
