Police issue CCTV appeal after Edgeley attempted burglary

Police have released a CCTV image of two men believed to be connected to an attempted burglarly in Stockport.

They are appealing to members of the public to help identify the men following the incident, which took place in Edgeley earlier this month.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) say 'thankfully' the offenders were disturbed by someone in the address before they were able to enter the property.

The CCTV image shows two white males wearing jeans and raincoats with their hoods up. Members of the public who recognise them are being asked to contact GMP.

In a tweet, GMP Stockport said: "We're wanting to identify these two men after an attempted burglary in #Edgeley this month. Thankfully the offenders were disturbed by someone in the address before they got access to the property.
