Police hunt 'man with axe' after road rage episode near nature reserve
Officers are hoping to track down a man who was reportedly seen with an axe during a 'road rage incident' in Bolton. Greater Manchester Police says the road rage episode happened on Thicketford Road, close to Seven Acres nature reserve.
The incident took place at around 12.45pm on Saturday, September 17. Police are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the incident.
They are also appealing for any dashcam footage that could help their investigation. Anyone with details is urged to contact GMP as soon as possible.

In a post on Facebook this morning (September 26), a spokesperson for GMP Bolton North said: "Officers in Bolton are looking for anyone who may have witnessed a road rage incident involving a male in possession of an axe. This occurred in the Thicketford Road area of Bolton near to Seven Acres at approximately 12:45pm on Saturday, September 17 2022.
"Officers are also interested in any dashcam footage capturing the incident. Please contact 101 quoting log 1486-17092022."
